Zune outselling iPod on Amazon

The 30 GB Microsoft Zune is the #1 MP3 seller on Amazon.com. The iPods rank #2 and #3 respectively.

It makes sense as the 30 GB Zunes were deeply discounted and can be upgraded to the same software to the new Zune 80. This is especially true since Amazon and all other online retailers sold out the initial batch of the Zune 80.

I really commend MC for valuing it’s earlier buyers by giving a free upgrade to the 80g firmware.
